Starting a T-Shirt Line
- As a Custom T-Shirt Shop I get to see a lot of young folks with an idea. So many want to start a clothing line, however they have no clue of what it takes. It is never my intention to stiffle dreams, but I do feel it is my due diligence to express some caution concerning their venture. So if you have walked this road, what would be a gem you offer to new designers who want to embark?

- You have to venture out of your comfort circle to test your ideas. Honesty could hurt feelings and your immediate circle may want to avoid that and refrain from total honesty.Your thoughts would be to make so many and flood the market. As a business owner I would smile at your potential and my bottomline, however we need to revisit due diligence. It has been my experience that you need to test the market. To do that you start with smaller quantities. Your per item cost will be higher initially, but will avoid you trying to figure out what to do with unsold inventory. Just Saying...
